Stacy grew up on a family farm just south of the Twin Cities.  She still enjoys being out on the farm harvesting veggies or selling at farmers markets when time allows. Stacy enjoys being active with her family, traveling and spending time with friends.

Stacy began working in the human services field over 20 years ago. She holds a bachelors degree in Psychology from the University of River Falls and a minor in Communication.

Stacy has always had a strong desire to work with people on a direct, personal level. Stacy feels lucky to have joined the support planning family after working with a non-profit, human services agency for 13 years.

Stacy feels that being a certified support planner allows her to build relationships with families while helping them navigate the complex world of disability services. Stacy is thrilled to be an independent support planner because it allows her to tailor her assistance to others based on their unique and individual needs.

My name is Megan Gillespie and I have been working in the social services field for about 10 years! I started as a therapist for kids with autism and as a DSP in grouhomes. I then graduated college and moved to the Twin Cities where I worked in Emergency Shelters for 5 years and then transitioned to Waiver Case Management, where I’ve worked for the past 4 years!

My degree is in Psychology and I am a certified Community Health Worker.

In my free time, I love baking, reading, taking care of my plants, running and spending time with my dog, Bella. My favorite part about Support Planning is getting to use my knowledge and expertise in bridging the gap between families/clients and services to better support them.

Gina came to support planning after 30 years of working in various roles with families and individuals in a small town and then all over the metro. Gina did DD case management for 11 years and currently supports case managers at a county. Her experience with consumer-directed services was from the beginning to the evolution of where it is today.  She was able to witness firsthand how positive this program was for those involved and realized becoming a support planner was a great way to get to bring the option directly to those needing this customized program.

Gina has been a support planner since May 2019. Her formal education included a B.S in Psychology from Southwest State in Marshall, MN.

Gina has 2 children, Brianna, attending MSU-Mankato, and Payton, in his last year at Lakeville North.  As her kids are moving to their next step in life, she and her husband, Keith, are busy catching up with friends who are also finally getting time to breathe as the kids leave.

Dorothy grew up in the rolling hills of Kentucky. She relocated to Minnesota in 2017 with her husband, four children, and her Yellow Labrador Retriever. And although she has only lived in Minnesota for five years, she now calls it home!

Dorothy has worked in the social service industry supporting individuals to live their best and fullest lives for 18 years. Dorothy has worked in various capacities as a Middle School teacher, Adjust College Professor, Program Director, Case Manager, QIDD Professional, and most recently as a contracted case manager/case manager supervisor, and support planner here in Minnesota.

Dorothy is passionate about person-centeredness--ensuring the individuals she serves, their voices, their needs, and their dreams are at the forefront of all planning and decision making. She enjoys working with families, especially those facing unique challenges and barriers. She finds nothing more fulfilling than helping families and individuals navigate the system and break down barriers so that the people they love most can have the support they need.

Dorothy has worked in Minnesota as a contracted case manager and case manager supervisor for 5 years. She has worked as a certified support planner for 3 years. She feels the breadth of experience she has gained from being both a case manager and support planner, assists her in better understanding systems, processes, and barriers that can impede individuals from maximizing the use of their supports and services. Dorothy works to integrate her many experiences, professionally and personally, inside of Minnesota and outside of Minnesota, to offer those she serves unparalleled support.

Dorothy earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in English and Secondary Education from Millsaps College. She went on to earn her Master of Arts Degree in Special Education from Western Kentucky University. She enjoys reading and is a creative nonfiction writer who hopes one day to publish her book.
